Weber Grill Cover

Why Weber Grill Cover?

Weber is known for their great line of Weber BBQ grills, they also have a Weber grill cover for each of their barbecue grills. Once you have purchased your new Weber BBQ grill, you will want to get a Weber grill cover to keep it protected from the elements. There are two lines of Weber grill covers, a premium line and a standard line. I would suggest if your grill is exposed to the elements, go with the premium Weber grill cover. They are more heavy duty and a better quality of material. It is a heavy duty vinyl made of Kelvar fibers that, even in the coldest weather, will not crack. If your Weber barbecue grill is kept in a covered area and you just want to keep it clean, the standard cover should work. I will give a run down of some of the more popular Weber grill covers.Weber Grill Cover

The Right Weber Grill Cover

The Weber Premium Kettle Grill Cover, fits 22.5 Inch charcoal grills. This Weber grill cover will fit all of the Weber 22.5 inch kettle grills. It gives great protection to your grill, hanging nearly all the way to the ground. This premium cover got 4+ star rating. I might add that the standard Weber BBQ cover in this model only got a 3 star rating.

The Weber Premium Cover for Genesis Gas Grills is a very popular cover. There are over two hundred customer ratings on Amazon and it has a 4+ rating. This cover is designed for both the Genesis E and S series gas grills. According to customer comments, Weber listened to customer feedback and replaced the vents with Velcro straps that holds the cover firmly in place even with strong winds. There had been complaints that the previous version allowed water to get in through the vents when it rained. Here is what one customer said:

I just received this from Amazon (not a third-party reseller) last week, and am happy to report that Weber has listened to their customers and stopped with the vents.

This cover is form-fit for my Weber Genesis S-320, and other Genesis 300 series grills. It looks great, and the velcro straps (which are now placed where the vents are pictured) keeps it from blowing off my grill. The material is quite dense, and the quality of the stitching is very good.

Having seen some of the cheaper covers that aren’t much more than tarp stitched in the shape of a grill, I was happy to spend a few bucks more. It isn’t cheap, but you get something high quality that makes your grill look nice even when it isn’t being used.

I used to own the Weber 7552 Cover, which I had on my old Genesis Silver B, and after three years, the thing still looked nice when I sold it, without so much as a loose stitch (though it did have the wonky vent over the handle). This cover feels like it’s even higher quality. Totally worth it, as far as I’m concerned.

Next is another popular Weber grill cover, the Premium Cover for Spirit 200/300 Gas Grills. This grill cover also fit’s the Genesis Silver A/B gas grills. Like the other Weber BBQ covers, this one also got a 4+ rating from the 76 customers who took the time to rate this cover. Like the other covers this is sleek looking with the Weber logo proudly displayed. The Velcro straps allow it fit snugly over the grill to give great protection from the elements.

I could go on listing the complete line of Weber BBQ grills, but I will not bore you. If you own a Weber BBQ grill, you will find a Premium Weber grill cover designed specifically for your grill. After reading many of the customer comments on Amazon, I would strongly suggest you spend the extra money and get a Premium grill cover rather than a Standard cover. I think you will be a lot more satisfied with the better cover. You may go to Amazon to find any Weber grill cover.
